New Year’s Resolutions


Every year 35% of people who make New Year’s Resolutions break them by the end of January and on 23% of people follow complete their resolutions. Here are a few tips to make sure you stick to your resolutions!

  • Be specific! – Instead of saying you are going to lose weight this year set a specific goal to walk 30 more minutes a week.
  • Give your resolutions meaning – If you give your resolution a deep meaning you are more likely to stick to it. If you want to be healthier knowing that you will live longer may give you motivation to keep going.
  • Make a sustainable plan – If you choose a large goal break it up into small very obtainable goals.
  • Don’t try to be perfect – Set a goal to be good enough not perfect. One missed day is not a reason to give up completely.
